WSN and explosive detection solutions

RAE Systems Inc., a leading global provider of rapidly deployable sensor networks that enable customers to identify safety and security threats in real time, and Implant Sciences Corporation , a developer and manufacturer of products for national security, medicine and industry, today announced RAE Systems has signed an agreement with Implant Sciences to explore the deployment of Implant Science’s QS-H150 Portable Explosives Trace Detector into AreaRAE wireless sensor networks.

“Homeland security customers worldwide are continually looking for more sensitive and non-invasive explosive detection solutions. This partnership with Implant Sciences expands RAE Systems’ open wireless network strategy for meeting the Chemical, Biological, Radiation, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) detection needs of first responders for public venue protection,” said Robert Chen, chief executive officer for RAE Systems.
