Sensicast ‘Top 100’ in M2M for Third Year in a Row
Friday, January 11th, 2008Sensicast Systems, worldwide provider of industrial class WSN systems and services has been chosen by M2M Magazine for the publication’s list of the “Top 100” M2M companies worldwide for its third year in a row.
Published annually, The M2M 100 provides a snapshot of the market and the companies with the greatest impact on its direction. In other words, a listing of the most important and influential machine-to-machine technology providers in the industry.
In selecting the list, the editors of M2M Magazine evaluated over 300 companies around the world on the basis of their achievements including strength of business model and product/service portfolio, momentum and activity in the last 12 months and growth potential. Among the 21 new entries this year, there is MeshNetics, the original Russian provider of high performance IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee modules, services and integration solutions. The M2M 100 can be found in the 2008 M2M Directory.
Moreover, in choosing Sensicast as its wireless sensor “Company of the Year” in 2007, industry analyst Frost & Sullivan wrote: “Sensicast has been more successful than its competitors due to its unique strategy to sell end-to-end wireless sensor network systems, rather than just being a technology company, which many of its competitors are.”
