ZigBee Open House in Tokyo
ZigBee Open House is coming to Tokyo, Thursday, February 28, 2008. Starting at 10:00AM at The Laforet Hotel. Anyone may attend free of charge and participate in a range of technical sessions covering the ZigBee overview, ZigBee public application profiles, product certifications and a ZigBee panel discussion. The event also features a member product and service exhibit and concludes with an evening reception, allowing attendees to network with ZigBee Alliance member companies.
It provides the Japanese with a rare opportunity to meet with ZigBee experts from around the world. Companies are gathering to share their expertise on how ZigBee is inspiring new solutions in energy management and efficiency, home and commercial building automation, and industrial plant monitoring. Will include a discussion of how ZigBee is providing significant fundamentals for ubiquitous and pervasive computing Sphere along with a new government initiative establishing a 950 MHz band for wireless technology and applications such as ZigBee.

Hundreds of people from around the world are expected to participate in discussions on how this global standard is becoming a strong alternative for utility companies and their impact on every day consumers.
