Wireless sensors do Web-based monitoring

Featuring a high-power IEEE 802.15.4-compliant transmitter operating at 2.4 GHz, the wiSeries provide Web-based monitoring and recording of temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. The sensors can transmit over 1,000 m, without obstructions, to a coordinator or controller directly connected to an Ethernet network or the Internet, charting data for display on active Web pages.

Designed for industrial or outdoor environments, the sensors are enclosed in a weatherproof, polycarbonate NEMA4/IP 65-rated housing. They can set alarms to be sent by e-mail, and run on batteries or ac power. (From $195 available now.)
