Would this be Jan Beutel, doing some PermaSense deployment?

I think he is Jan Beutel. He is deploying sensornet in Alps. Battery is not enough, and solar power is needed.

The man in this picture is Dr. Jan Beutel from ETH Zurich. He is at one of the two deployment sites of his Permasense Project in Swiss Alps. In this project they are trying to study the weather patterns in the harsh environmental conditions in the remote areas like Swiss Alps by using specially designed Wireless Sensor Nodes and other equipment. Their goal is to gather environmental data in order to understand the processes that are responsible for climate change and rock fall in permafrost areas.
